Day 80 It has been another long stage and a pleasant one, most of the route sections following secondary roads with low traffic and great views. As I asked my host Stefan Högnäs at Silverdalshälsan if I could get some boiled water to prepare one of my trekking meals or if it was possible to get a warm meal in the neighbourhood, he asked me if I would like to eat spaghetti bolognese. Of course, I replied. After having taken a shower, I got a huge portion of tasty spaghetti bolognese and a fresh salad on top. It has been so long one of the best carbo meals on my Baltic trip. Later we followed together the EURO 2017 Championship match between Sweden and Germany on TV and I was too tired to take a swim in the 28°C inhouse swimmingpool.
But Stefan Högnäs offers more than simple accommodation services. As a performance athlete and former regional ITT (Individual Time Trial) champion, he offers training coaching and testing services for sport enthusiasts. More informations at www.dinpuls.se.
